Hospital Admit #1, #2 and # 3

It's been a CRAZY week! After taking the quads to the county fair, we all got sick and had to be admitted to the hospital!

KIDDING!!!! We have never left the house and they still got sick! I just through in the fair part because I'm so freaking sleepy I can't think straight and it sounded fun!! Everyone got colds starting last Wednesday. By Sunday night Cannon was not eating and having quite a few Apnea Episodes. I called his pediatrician and she sent us to the hospital. He was admitted later that night and put on oxygen. Tests determined he had pneumonia. By morning Matt was calling with the news the girls weren't eating. Noon on Monday, Lauren, Avery and Cannon were patients at the hospital and all on oxygen. Gunner was not admitted, but our pediatrician requested that he stay there just in case. (I mean, really, we couldn't send him home by himself! He's a big boy, but not capable of making bottles for himself just yet!!) I will give all the scary details later because their are lots, (Have to say Thanks to Nurse Chassidy in this post though, you will forever be Lauren's Angel!) but right now my sister is at the hospital with Cannon so I could come to my friend who lives about 5 miles from hospital's house to take a nap, shower and eat so I better do just that. Lauren and Avery were released at 2 yesterday and are on 4 a day breathing treatments. Gunner was "released" around 6 last night and is on 6 a day breathing treatments. Cannon is getting better, but still puny. Please continue to pray for all of them. We have done everything possible to keep them healthy, but we managed to catch something! And please know I was kidding about the fair, the babies outings have been to the pediatrician and back and that's it!!!!

Wow, and I thought I'd had a crazy busy week. You've put into perspective how silly my complaints are. Hope you know that you and ALL of your family are in our prayers. Tell Andrea we said hello.

I hate that yall all got sick, but I pray that everyone will be better soon. I read all of your posts and I am sorry this is the first comment I am leaving you, but you know I am thinking about yall. The babies are BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the bows the girls are wearing in the pictures and I love your organization! I am very OCD like that!!! Call if I can do anything to help!

Sandra,
I truly know how hard and scary that is! One of mine was home 3 days and back in the hospital with RSV. It is gut wrenching watching them like that. I have also had to do the 911 thing. Not fun either. I will say ALL of mine are doing great and they were little enough not to remember. I will keep all of you in my prayers and am so sorry that you are goign thru this.

oh no! praying everyone gets well asap!! our pediatrician (who is a father to quads) said his kids got RSV when they were 6mo despite all of their efforts to stay home and keep clean. it's crazy how colds/flus/viruses can still seep in, especially since you are homebound. praying it doesn't happen again for you all!

Love the hairbows. I know of a great site where you buy the headbands (in a variety of colors) and the bows are interchangable. They make like 50 kinds, and have hundreds of ribbons:

Your kids are gorgeous. Praying for health and strength and that illness will not enter yoru house again

HI, I just found your blog through a click and other clicks. Anyway I noticed you are in MS too. I just wanted to voice my support of you and all those little ones. I know what its like to have 1 sick and in the hospital not 4 at one time. Hang in there and know that even perfectly good strangers pray for your little families well being.

Sandra, I read the article in the paper this morning about the diapers given to you guys from the school. I didn't realize we were so close. We are in Ocean Springs. I do hope that those sweet little ones are doing much better now they are back home.

The Graf Quads are wondering how their buddies, the Cochran's, were doing. Hope everyone's on the mend and you're just too busy lovin' up on your five to bother messing with the computer!

Sandra & Family,

It's been 2 weeks, and I'm having withdrawals. But enough about me, how are all of YOU? You have tons of prayers coming your way. Hope all is well/better/wonderful.
